HISTORY

Born out of a need to fill a void to provide adequate, affordable and age-appropriate entertainment production to Belizean communities, OGD productions was founded in 1995. The Acronym OGD, meaning Outta Giga Dang was symbolically selected. Griga, the shortened and endearing term for Dangriga is attached to it by it's citizens. Barbara's mission was to capture the essence of that love that the people of Dangriga have for their town. Later that year an additional partner was joined in the person of Sylvia Sampson Cayetano.

Undaunted by the challenges, obstacles and inevitable exposed to her during her almost 15 years in the industry, Barbara Norales, in 2009, resurrected OGD Production with the same fervor, excitement and enthusiasm as when she first started to pursue her dream. This time however, there is a renewed commitment to remain relevant as the company continues to meet the growing demand to provide and produce quality, stress-free, wholesome entertainment to the masses.

As one of a few individually-owned and operated companies in the country, OGD production continues to blaze trails. Certainly not one of the biggest, it promises to be one of the brightest stars in the production aspect of the entertainment industry.
